Lupin Pharmaceuticals is recalling their Mibelas 24 tablets, after noticeing a packing mistake of its oral contraceptives, according to the FDA.

The packaging error accidentally placed the placebo pills at the beginning of the pack instead of at the end.

Mibelas birth control was distributed nationwide to pharmacies, clinics and wholesalers, no unplanned pregnancies have been reported yet.

The expiration date is marketed as 5/31/2018.


Penn State, home of the Nittany Lions, is now hiring game day event staff and security for the 2018-2019 seasons.

Game day positions include: bag checkers, metal detecting staff, guest services, ticket takers, supervisors and field security.

You must be 18 years old, able to work nights and weekends, must be able to stand for extended periods of times and have a high school diploma.

The 10th annual Father’s Day Car Show will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Locust Grove Retirement Village, with the All-American Cruizers.

Registration is free and begins at 11 a.m. All makes and models of cars are welcome. Trophies will be awarded at 3 p.m.

There will be a performance by Faces4Radio from noon to 3 p.m.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the day.

Admission to the show is free, however, donations of non-perishable food items for the Juniata County Food Pantry, and pet food and treats for the Pet Food Pantry will be collected.
